StudAI OneWhere AI Becomes One
Your data, your rights

Privacy Policy

How StudAI One collects, uses, protects and shares your information — and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Last updated: 27 June 2026 · StudAI One Pvt. Ltd.

1. Who we are

StudAI One Pvt. Ltd. ("StudAI One", "we", "us" or "our") operates the website at https://studai.one and the products available through it, including Career, Prism, Hire, Loop, Creator, Engage and BOS. We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Our registered operations are based at Vels University, Pallavaram, Chennai, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices and rights you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve our services:

  • Information you give us — name, email, phone, organisation, and the details you submit through forms, assessments, demos or support requests.
  • Product data — your responses, learning progress, assessment results, generated content and other inputs you create while using our products.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for detail.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data unless you choose to provide it, and we never sell your personal data.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, personalise and improve our products and your results.
  • To respond to your enquiries, demos and support requests.
  • To send you service messages and, where you have opted in, relevant updates and our newsletter.
  • To keep our services secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how our products are used so we can make them better.

5. AI and automated processing

Our products use artificial intelligence (including models hosted on Microsoft Azure OpenAI) to generate guidance, assessments, scores and content. Outputs are produced to assist you and are not a substitute for professional advice. Where a decision could materially affect you — for example in hiring — a human review step is required before any final decision.

We do not use your private product inputs to train third-party foundation models.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal data only with:

  • Trusted service providers (data processors) who help us run the platform — such as cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), email delivery and analytics — under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of our services.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation, subject to this policy.

We never sell or rent your personal data to advertisers.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

8. How we protect your data

We use encryption in transit, access controls, tenant isolation and reputable cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, with data residency in India where available) to protect your information. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Correct, complete, update or erase your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a concern and have it addressed.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We respond to verified requests within the timelines required by law.

10. Children

Some of our services support students, including those under 18, in an educational context. Where required, we obtain verifiable parental or institutional consent and do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date, and where changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

12. Contact & Grievance Officer
